Text is within a frame outlined with four lines, in yellow, green, red and blue, with verses separated from the main text in sections ruled in red ink. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with blue, orange and black watercolors, and the text frame is in gold leaf with one red and one blue line around it. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink starts on fol. 2. Glazed dark cream paper with visible laid lines. Green leather with envelope flap. Gold tooled border design on covers and the envelope flap consisting of multiple gold rolls and fillets, with small rosetta stamps forming corner pieces. Gold stamped 'branch with flowers' motif on upper and lower covers. Gold tooled panel design on fore edge flap, made with fillets and rosetta stamps. Endleaves and lining to envelope flap in yellow embossed glazed paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in green leather.

Written in a casual hand, in a medium-sized informal ruqʻah in black ink, with use of blue ink for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Cream wove paper. Fol. 2b-10a have a list of contents in the same hand as the main text. Fol. 10b-11a contain a key to the meanings of letters used in the text, entitled "Miftah-i huruf-i Câvidân-i dürr-i yetim". A short paragraph on fol. 12a. The two colophons by the scribe on fol. 326a are followed by a page of verses on fol. 326b in a later hand, and a calligraphic drawing of a human figure on fol. 327a. Origin: Copied by Akçehisarî Derviş Süleyman in 1222 (1807-8) -- colophon (fol. 326a). The colophon is followed by another short selection of verses, added by the scribe in 1273 (1856-7). Ms. has 113 leaves of glazed paper measuring 242 x 154 mm.; text area, ruled in gold with black and blue outlines, measures 148-160 x 90 mm. Text is on f. 1b-113b and is vocalized. F. 1b has illuminated ʻunwān; headings and keywords in red or gold. Binding is pasteboard with envelope flap covered in brown leather with stamped and gilded center medallions and borders.
