A table of contents and an introduction with marginal text precede the main text, with a second, less formally formatted table of contents right before the main text (f. 34). Some collation notations are visible in the far outer margins along with guidewords for the topics, many of which have been partially trimmed.

A number of headpiece decorations and detailed marginal doodles were also added by a later hand.
