Incomplete and lacunose copy of a West Syrian theological treatise in 10 books, from creation to Paradise; missing beginning and end with some pages out of order. This copy includes headings for books 8, 7, 6, 9, and 10, in that order.
Group of several texts related to Islamic theological doctrine, mostly by or referencing Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-Sanūsī or Muḥammad al-Ṣāliḥ al-Awjalī; largely incomplete. The seventh work, by al-Awjalī, is incomplete and out of order. Contains some scribal errors and abbreviations which have been corrected or clarified by a later reader. Some texts contain extensive interlinear insertions, particularly the end of the 2nd work and the entire 7th work.The pages are loose leaves wrapped in a hide folder.
Selections from the first and second volume of Iqbālnāmah-ʼi Jahāngīrī. This copy contains parts of a history of Emperor Akbar and his father. The first two leaves of this volume are bound out of order and begin with the year 13 of Akbar's reign before returning to a portion of his father's rule followed by an account of Akbar's birth and ascension to the throne; the work ends abruptly in the ninth year of Akbar's rule. The final page is pasted over another written page. The work includes 29 illustrations in mixed media, some of which are incomplete and many of which have had names and comments added to them; some of the illustrations also have added pasted-on embellishments or corrections to the drawing (see f. 25v, for example).
Copy of the story of Vāmiq and ʻAz̲rā with numerous brightly colored full-page illustrations; the illustrations all have a blank space left on the reverse side of the leaf and blank leaves have been tipped in around the illustrations and full-page illuminations.
Complete copy of the Qurʼān, except for half of verse 134 in Ṭā Ḥā. Copied on loose leaves of laid, watermarked European paper, decorated in red and yellow and kept between boards in a wrap and satchel. The boards have some recitation suggestions written on them. Two leaves with most of Muʼminūn verses 47 to 65 laid in; the leaves are in a different hand and do not replace missing text.
