As appears in authorial colophon on p.290 (contribution to the cataloguing from Ali Safari Agh Ghaleh), composition completed 9 Shaʻbān 695 [ca. 12 June 1296].Former shelfmark: "129 T. De M. [i.e. Tammaro De Marinis]" inscribed in pencil on upper pastedown.Binding: Pasteboards covered in tan leather with dull red leather over spine and edges / turn-ins (possible repair / restoration treatment) ; Type III binding (without flap) ; pastedowns and flyleaves in green wove paper ; upper and lower covers carry central scalloped mandorla with traces of filigreé (now lost) on recessed paper onlays ; sewn in light blue thread, two stations ; worked chevron endbands in light blue and golden yellow, good condition ; overall in somewhat poor condition with losses of onlays, some abrasion, staining, lifting of leather, etc.Support: non-European (likely Persian) laid paper with 7 laid lines per cm.
