Ms. 955Origin: As appears in colophon on p.169, copied by Muṣṭafá al-Ḥakīm ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥakīm al-Shāfiʻī al-Miṣrī with transcription completed 24 Shaʻbān 1290 [ca. 17 October 1873] likely in Egypt where the copyist was born and resided.Former shelfmark: Mich. Isl. Ms. temp. no. 104Binding: Boards covered in textured black cloth with black leather over spine (quarter binding) ; Western style binding ; pastedowns and flyleaves in wove paper printed with a floral vegetal pattern in pink and green ; spine gold-stamped with title and decorative accents over raised bands "حاشية الدسوقى" ; sewn in white thread, five stations ; overall in good condition with minor abrasion at spine.Support: European (specifically Venetian made by the Galvani firm) laid paper with 8 laid lines per cm.
