- The volume contains correspondence and telegrams between the Political Agents at Bahrain at the time, Major Cyril Charles Gordon Barrett, then Captain Reginald George Evelin Alban and Captain Charles Geoffrey Prior, the Government of India and the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf, regarding ‘Abd al-‘Azīz bin ‘Abd al-Raḥmān bin Fayṣal Āl Sa‘ūd (Ibn Sa‘ūd) , Sultan of Najd and Dependencies and the British relations with him.Subjects include the Political Agent at Bahrain being made British Consul for Qatif and Ojair, the creation of a British Legation at Jedda, and ammunition and bombs being requested by Ibn Sa‘ūd from the British Government.There are some letters in Arabic, to and from Ibn Sa‘ūd and the Amir of Qatif, Muhammad bin 'Abdur Rahman as-Suwailim.1 volume (173 folios)The documents in the volume are arranged in chronological order.The foliation is in pencil, and can be found in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.
