The man on the left is described as an Arab from Ḥaḍramawt who is based in Pontianak. They sit face forward on foldable chairs, looking towards the camera.The man on the far right wears a waistcoat over a white mid-coloured shirt or thawb, trousers, sandals and a patterned turban. The man right of centre wears a white thawbover sandals and a patterned turban. He holds a scroll of paper in his hands. The man left of centre wears a button-up waistcoat over a white thawb, sandals and a patterned turban. The man on the far left wears a white thawb, turban and sandals.
