Letter reporting that the Imam of Muscat had intimated, in conversation, his intention to blockade the port of Bussorah [Basra] as his negotiations with the authorities there had failed to 'do him justice'. The letter also states that the Imam had agreed to give notice of his intentions, should he feel the need to implement them, to the Governor in Council.2 folios
