- Fine, calligraphic ketubba, dated 1050 CE in Fusṭāṭ, for Sitt al-Dār bat Abū l-Ṭayyib Ḥananya ha-Levi ha-Parnas and Abraham b. Isaac the scholar. Witnessed by Nathan ha-Levi b. Yešuʿa, Manasseh b. David, Abū Zikrī Judah b. Saʿadya the physician, Nathan b. Sason, Abraham b. [Maṣ]liaḥ, Nahray b. Nissim, Manṣūr b. Yaʿir, Ḵalaf b. Saʿadya, Isaac b. David, Ḥayyim b. Moses, and Aaron b. Ṭoviyya the Third. The trousseau and marriage gift reveal this was an extremely wealthy couple. The Tunisian banker and judge Abraham b. Isaac the scholar (ha-Talmid) is known from many other Genizah documents, and was involved with community politics during the administration of the Nasi David b.
