Abstract: A versification of al-Taysīr fī al-qirāʼāt al-sabʻ, a work on the readings of the Qurʼān by ʻUthmān ibn Saʻīd al-Dānī al-Qurṭubī (d. 444/1053). The versification is commonly known as al-Shāṭibīyah.Binding note: Dark brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Both covers have a large central blind tooled medallion, encompassing a twelve-pointed star with small dots filling the compartments defined by the star and circular edge. Spine and edges repaired. On fol. 1b, Ghāyat al-Umniyah fī sharḥ rumūz al-Shāṭibī (twelve verses of poetry in lām-alif) by Jamāl al-Dīn Abū al-Ḥasan ʻAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn Ayyūb al-Ṣiddīq al-Turkistānī.
