Abstract: Treatise explaining the stories of the Koran and events in the life of the Prophet Muḥammad. This ms. seems to contain the first part of this book (see note on the title).Binding note: Upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap made of brown leather over paper pasteboards. The lower and upper covers are similarly blind-tooled with a central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis and an outer frame with fillets and a running pattern of flower stamps.
